Cleverea is committed to become a data driven company. We want to provide our engineering and business teams (Product, Sales, Marketing, etc.) with the right analytic and data tools to help them make optimal and informed decisions. To that end, we are on the mission to design and build the foundations of Cleverea’s Data team, responsible for effectively implementing a wide variety of E2E data related projects.

Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and create the data tools and processes we need to grow the business
- Support product analysts with automation, tooling, data pipelines and engineering expertise.
- Design, develop and deploy all kinds of reliable data pipelines that feed reporting & analytics systems used by analysts and product managers using python and SQL.
- Orchestrate and manage all kinds of data pipelines using Apache Airflow
- Design, maintenance, evolution, and optimization of Cleverea’s Datawarehouse
- Design, maintenance, and evolution of Cleverea’s data platform
What you should have
- +3 years of proven experience working as part of a data team as an analytics engineer or data engineer
- Native in SQL
- Strong knowledge of Python or any other data related programming language
- Strong understanding and experience with data modeling principles
- Experience with any cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, Google cloud ), preferably AWS
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and embrace emerging technology with little mentoring or guidance
- European citizen or Spanish work permit (no visas sponsored)
- Fluent in English
What might be a plus
- Experience with data transformation in DBT (or similar modern code-based tools for warehouse transformation)
- Knowledge of the main statistical and data manipulation packages in Python (pandas, matplotlib, scipy )
- Experience with Git and Github (or similar)
- Prior experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Previous experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Luigi
- Personal interest in cloud infrastructure
- Experience working in an early-stage startup
- Knowledge of Spanish
