PYP Native Speaker Teacher SEK CATALUNYA

SEK Catalunya needs to incorporate a  PYP Native Speaker Teacher for 2024-2025 academic year. MISSION : Empowering students to become proficient communicators, critical thinkers, and lifelong learners through the exploration of inquiry-based learning experiences that foster curiosity, creativity, and global mindedness. FUNCTIONS: Develop and implement teaching plans for the transdisciplinary and disciplinary units. Attend department meetings and participate in collaborative planning sessions. Take part in standardizing assessment tasks. Contribute to curriculum research and improvement. Stay updated on the PYP scope and sequence. Communicate with parents the students’ progress. Attend to school activities such as festivals and Open Days. REQUIREMENTS: Primary teacher. Teaching experience, preferably in the PYP. Native speaker or native speaker level.  Speaking Spanish and/or Catalan will be valued. Microsoft Office user. Experience with other educational platforms to enhance classroom dynamics and promote such tools with the team will be appreciated. WE OFFER: Contract: Permanent. Schedule: 9:30 – 17:10 h
