Downstream Process Manager

The Wacker Biosolutions plant located in León/Spain, focuses on the production of L-cystine by fermentation and other biotechnological products and we are currently seeking to recruit a Process Manager (f/m/d) for the Downstream Operation department. Your tasks: - Development, elaboration and implementation of new SOPs - Supervision for compliance with EHS relevant topics related to the DSP plant - Organization of the work and the schedule for different tasks of the shifts - Supervision of the compliance with SOPs, safety requirements, work instructions and quality and food safety requirements - Control of batch records and other documentation created during production at the factory - Check and control of the data generated during the production process (IPCs, deviations, system logs and parameters) to determine measures to correct or improve the production process - Deputy of the Head of L Cystine Downstream Plant with all the corresponding tasks and responsibilities Your profile: - Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or comparable vocational training - Ideally experience in managing people - Good English skills (mandatory), ideally also knowledge of German (not mandatory) - Skilled in working with MS-Office and ideally experience with SAP and digital tools in general Sustainability is one of WACKER’s corporate goals - also as an employer.
