Knowledge of BBVA Global Architecture Teams is a plus.* Proficiency in dealing with technology vendors.* Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders.* Proven ability to manage projects following Agile and Waterfall methodologies and proven track record of managing development teams in multiple locations.* Works cooperatively and productively with others, openly exchanging information and supporting colleagues from around the organisation to achieve business goals.* Strong influencing skills and ability to build commitment to defined strategies and approaches.* Ability to see how parts of the organisation and system infrastructure interact with the whole (holistic thinking).* Capable of interacting with customers and IT peers both electronically and in-person.* Confident and practised communicator, with excellent stakeholder management skills,

including legacy system modernization and software as a service solutions.In this role you will manage and develop a team, working on our Global Architecture family and provide expert level IT technical lead services, including the direction, evaluation, selection, configuration, implementation, and integration of new and existing architectures and technologies.The main functions are:* Management of the Cloud discipline, setting the strategy for the evolution towards the cloud of CIB systems as well as the governance, operation and FinOps model.* Management of the evolution and maintenance teams of the following platforms: Architecture for the development of in-house CIB applications (NOVA), based on Java, microservices and containers, integrated with DevOps and in the process of hybridization to the cloud.* Integration Architectures,
management of all messaging between CIB systems, providing audit, traceability and error management models, both on Tibco technology and on other technologies: APIs, Kafka, etc.* Process Architecture and Robotics, with the technologies: BPMaaS (JBPM), Wizard and Autohotkey. As well as development and evolution of CIB business processes.* Content Management Architecture on Opentext and CIB Digital Signature capabilities.* Lead CIB Innovation Team, with a lot of focus on the evolution of Artificial Intelligence capabilities.* Define the reliability strategy, setting the priorities and work plan of CIB's critical systems.Also, you:* Conduct regular one on one and staff meetings. Hire, evaluate and counsel the crew. Set performance standards, review performance, and provide feedback.* Work with the Heads of Software Delivery (Services owners)
to ensure adequate resources are in place. Maintain appropriate staff to contractor ratios.* Define the long term technical architecture providers/partners landscape, leading the evolution of the relationship with the existing technology partners + engaging with new ones as required, implementing a long term, highly efficient and sustainable delivery and support model with the right balance onshore vs offshore and insource vs outsource.* Align the Technology and Architecture strategies with the responsibility of implementing it on an efficient way and with the adequate time to market to allow the business and IT to prosper, supporting the different Service Owners and guaranteeing its alignment with the compliance and regulatory requirements.* Day to day management of the department - Projects, Service Levels, budget control, delivery management...,
having a consolidated reporting into the Strategy & Control office from an Architecture Operations, Delivery and regulatory perspective.* As the Senior Manager of the area/department, the candidate will have to, amongst others,review and approve contracts for the provision of IT Architecture Services, equipment and Software.* Identify emerging technologies to be assimilated, integrated and introduced within the company.* Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures that are aligned with the needs of the business.* Maintain the administration, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, communication and liaison at a level acceptable to the Strategy & Control office and the different IT Heads.* Implement,
