Job Description Our client, a leading global ICT service provider, is recruiting for PL/SQL Developer to join their business inSpain.Job SummaryWe are seeking a talented PL/SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining PL/SQL code to support database applications and systems. This role involves collaborating with business analysts, database administrators, and software engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements and performance objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain PL/SQL code for database applications, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of PL/SQL code.Develop and maintain database schemas, tables, indexes, and constraints to support application functionality and data integrity.Optimize SQL queries and database performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and inefficiencies.Implement data migration, transformation, and integration processes using PL/SQL and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools.Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, data models, and process diagrams.Participate in requirements gathering, sprint planning, and project estimation activities.Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in PL/SQL development and database management.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a PL/SQL Developer or Oracle Database Developer, with a strong understanding of relational database concepts and SQL.Proficiency in PL/SQL programming, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.Experience with Oracle Database technologies (Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c) and SQL Developer or TOAD.Knowledge of database performance tuning techniques and best practices.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.English, Spanish are requiredAdditional Skills:Experience with Oracle PL/SQL tuning tools (e.g., Oracle Enterprise Manager, SQL Tuning Advisor).Knowledge of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or other ETL tools is a plus.3 Certification in Oracle Database or PL/SQL development is beneficial.Work Environment:Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
