Position Summary : Support in executing the strategy for development of Capability Building for Sales (and eBusiness) on a global basis.

Key responsibilities :

  • Own the global Sales Capability Strategy, Tools, and Processes: Sales Functional Competencies, Training and Learning, Capability Assessments (Individual and Organizational)
  • Execute and propose improvements in the 70/20/10 Sales Training Process with HR, Zones, and HUB's.
  • Help updating training material and the Sales Capabilities Manual with learning modules for each competency. Drive training calendar development in alignment with Zone and Commercial Framework teams
  • Assess and propose ways to improve the Sales Competency Framework especially in new key areas such as eCommerce
  • Help assess the capabilities of Nestle Sales, and improvements toward focus areas
  • Roll out the Sales Academy Playbook to deliver the Capabilities roadmap of “A Sales Academy in every market”
  • Ensure maintenance and frequent updates of the Sales Academy Playbook
  • Roll out series of market deployment workshops to help markets assess needs, develop, launch and maintain local Sales Academies (or upgrade existing ones)
  • Launch and curate the eCommerce Academy, within the One Platform generating demand capabilities ecosystem
  • Ensure content is fresh and up-to-date
  • Ensure sales communities globally are well informed of learning opportunities and adopt the development content
  • Ensure best in class development content and tools
  • Constantly update and reformat existing learning content in partnership with Commercial treams
  • Identify content gaps, and local market needs, and plan and execute gap closing actions
  • Ensure the right learning and tool formats for the right audiences, including RR ecosystem
  • Sales Functional Competencies
  • Update Drivers and 70/20/10 learning options
  • Develop/Adapt self-paced learning modules for each competency
  • Sales on-boarding and career path
  • Support Capability Building Lead in creating and enabling the Sales force to maximize performance through building capabilities during on-boarding, through the PDP process, and by managing a variable career path based on market cluster, that can inform local HR and Sales leads on how to structure local job progression and employee expectations
  • Build and engage a community of Sales Capability people from the markets, in order to share learnings, and fast track capability development
  • Animate and utilize the regional L&D CoCs to ensure bottom up need capture and top down cascade of initiatives
  • Work in close alignment with Marketing capabilities team to ensure a homogeneous and value adding learning experience
  • Curate Sales Capabilities sections in Marketplace and animate Workplace communities

What will make you successful :

  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in Sales, especially in developing, traditional trade markets, ideally understanding of Nestlé Sales processes.
  • Experience with Sales and/or CDT job roles and capabilities.
  • Nice to have ecommerce experience
  • Capability building experience appreciated
