Growth Manager - Spanish Market

I am supporting a leading, global, igaming client with their search for a Growth Manager for the Spanish market.

My client is well established and has made a name for themselves in the sector by providing the best online casino and Sports betting products since 2006. With licenses obtained globally, in numerous regulated markets, their name stands out in regard to growth & global presence.

As a Growth Manager, you will sit under the Spanish Growth team and will be responsible for optimizing data driven marketing strategies and supporting other local teams with reliable, relevant and responsive analytical support and insight.

This role requires a marketing professional with an analytical mindset, someone who loves to take numbers and data and report on marketing performance efforts via marketing strategies and campaigns . You will oversee guiding and mentoring junior analysts and digital marketers from an analytical point of view and experience of managing a marketing budget is of importance too!

You must speak both fluent Spanish and English!

Purpose of the role : The Growth Manager will manage a team of analysts and digital marketers as this is a pivotal postion for driving the growth of their business in Spain. You will be responsible for developing and executing growth strategies that will increase our customer base, drive revenue growth and increase other performance based KPIs.

Your ultimate goal will be to accelerate the growth of my client’s business, increase their market share and, also work with the brand manager to establish a strong brand presence in the Spanish market.

Responsibilities :

  • Managing a team of specialists including digital marketers and analysts,
  • Defining and leading our marketing strategy to deliver upon the objectives and commercial targets
  • Managing ‘performance to budget’ by optimizing our investment on a weekly basis to meet KPIs
  • Merging local analytics with best practice to optimize local marketing opportunities
  • Maintaining and developing marketing reporting to continually improve our understanding of the market
  • Leading the marketing planning process with internal and external teams
  • Reviewing changes to the market, consumer trends and the competitive landscape and providing guidance on re-evaluating the marketing plan if necessary
  • Providing analytical support to key stakeholders under time sensitive environments
  • Managing the analytical support/output of the team and being the primary point of contact for understanding the KPIs of the market
  • Maintaining and evolving the analytical resources supporting the other local teams
  • Leading long term forecasting on player activity and budgets to support directors on scenario planning

Must haves :

  • Proven record in managing a marketing/analytics team,
  • Extensive marketing experience
  • Ability to conceptualise, discuss and present marketing ideas internally and externally
  • Confidence in managing large marketing budgets and driving ROI growth
  • Proven track record in designing and executing digital marketing campaigns
  • Experience in hiring and managing a high performing team
  • Ability to effectively coach and develop junior colleagues
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver and prioritize between tactical and strategic initiatives
  • Experience using tools such as Tableau, Appsflyer, Google and/or Adobe Analytics Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in both Spanish and English

Nice to haves :

  • Good understanding of the sports media landscape
  • Strong knowledge of the local online betting market
