Semantics Product Manager - (Saas - Hospitality

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy and Roadmap: Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap for our semantic engine, aligned with the needs of our target market and business objectives.
  • Requirement Definition: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements for new features and enhancements, translating customer needs into actionable tasks for the engineering team.
  • Annotation Process Management: Oversee the training of annotators and establish guidelines and requirements for annotation tasks to ensure high-quality labeled datasets for model training.
  • Data Management: Work with large datasets, preparing them for training and testing of the semantic engine, ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including product specifications, user guides, and best practices for annotation and data preparation processes.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI, and data science teams to drive the development and implementation of new product features, ensuring alignment with product vision and customer requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Define and implement processes for testing and validating the performance of the semantic engine, working closely with data scientists and QA engineers to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers success teams to gather client feedback, understand their needs and pain points, and identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Computational Linguistics, NLP, Computer science or similar.
  • At least 3 years proven experience in Product management with focus on NLP/ML projects, working with text classification, information extraction, sentiment analysis, NER, language modeling, NLU and/or dialogue systems.
  • Experience with training annotators, defining annotation guidelines, and managing annotation processes.
  • Experience working with large datasets and preparing them for machine learning model training/testing is highly desirable.
  • Experience in using and/or fine-tuning large language models (LLM) such as GPT is a plus.
  • Proficiency with product management tools such as Jira, Monday, Miro, and documentation platforms like Confluence.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Knowledge of online reputation management, guest satisfaction surveys, or hospitality industry trends is a plus.
