Job Summary: Carrier is looking for a full-time Senior Infrastructure Engineer to ensure the design and maintenance of our core infrastructure. Join our dynamic engineering team and play a pivotal role in shaping our cloud-based services. Your expertise will be essential in building and securing our infrastructure for the future. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or a similar role, with a focus on AWS and cyber security. Strong knowledge of networking, VM, Docker, and related technologies. In-depth understanding of cyber security principles and best practices. Experience with the following technologies is highly desirable: APNs, FCM, PostgreSQL, pgpool, Redis, Redis cluster, Zabbix, ELK, Grafana, Syslog, IPSec, OpenVPN. Understanding of monitoring principles and approaches Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Fluent in English and Full working knowledge of Spanish language Experience in working with different cultures in remote locations, and willing to travel Valid EU work permit Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory but a plus): AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Security - Specialty). Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud). Certification in cyber security (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)). Previous experience in a senior or lead role within infrastructure engineering. Knowledge of container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes). Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Experience with programming languages such as Ruby, C++, Python, Java, Go. Fluent in French is a plus Soft Skills: Excellent problem - solving and troubleshooting skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities Self - confident and really autonomous Proactive and strong influential skills at all levels of the company Responsibilities : Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure solutions to support our business operations and applications. Collaborate with the development and operations teams to ensure efficient and reliable deployment of applications and services. Manage and monitor AWS resources, including ELB, ALB, S3, EC2, Route53, VPC, and AWS VPN. Implement and maintain configuration management tools such as Saltstack. Configure and optimize NGINX for high-performance web applications. Maintain and support APNs (Apple Push Notification services) and FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) services. Administer and manage databases, including PostgreSQL, pgpool, Redis, and Redis cluster. Implement and maintain monitoring and logging tools such as Zabbix, ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Grafana, and Syslog. Manage network connectivity with IPSec and OpenVPN.
