Research Assistant in the Department of Financial Management

The RA will be involved in multiple projects related to sustainable finance. Specifically, we will analyze new state-funded investment vehicles in the US and EU (e.g., Green banks) Also, we will explore the role of nature and biodiversity on firms, financial markets, and household finances. The RA will perform data collection and empirical analysis. The RA will have exposure to state-of-the-art empirical analysis and novel datasets including satellite data. Lastly, the RA will have the opportunity to be on a research teams which includes research from top institutions in US and EU (e.g., Harvard, London Business School, American University). Requirements Work-permit in Spain BS / BA degree or Master’s degree. High proficiency in English language Some finance knowledge Textual analysis Knowledge of at least one of these coding languages: STATA, R, python. Conditions Full-time position 1.830 euros / months before tax Start date ASAP End date 1 year with the possibility of extending.
