We build hope.At Elekta, we continually look for motivated and skilled individuals who are interested in supporting our customers – healthcare professionals who use our products to help patients and their communities.We are currently looking for an experienced Business Manager to enable, facilitate and drive orders and sales within the Neuro Business Line. They will promote the generation of leads and build a pipeline as well as track and support these leads to closure for Business Lines Neuro solution – Leksell Gamma Knife in the following markets: France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Malta and Israel. What you’ll do at ElektaThe Business Manager plays a key customer-facing role and should be able to use clinical, operational, financial, and technical knowledge to explain, demonstrate and sell the benefits of Leksell Gamma Knife. They will support the BL Leader to achieve the budgeted orders target for Business Lines Neuro and its associated products and services.These are some of (not limited to) their responsibilities:Support the BL Leader and Clusters to develop a strategic plan per county and support on successful implementation of the short and long-term planIdentify and develop sales opportunities of Leksell Gamma Knife, to both new customers and the installed base of existing customers through direct sales activities, through the cluster and through agents/distributors in close collaboration with the local sales teams.Support the cluster sales teams and customers with in-depth product expertise, including product presentations, sales discussions, customer visits, demos and internal training.Provide regular updates on ongoing prospects at the regular Sales meetings and Business Line meetings.Support with tenders, answering questions and providing expertise when needed.Provide internal support to the local sales teams in resolving Business Lines Neuro related issues, manage any challenges that arise and continuously strive to ensure that customers are satisfied with the services and support delivered by Elekta throughout the sales process (improving customers' satisfaction).Support the full utilization and adoption of CLM in the relevant geography, including Salesforce and commercial quotes within Oracle.Support product launches in the region with a focus on defining targets in the market, planning, and implementing a sales strategy together with the local sales team. Work in close collaboration with distributors and agents of Elekta.Ensure there is an adequate pipeline of Leksell Gamma Knife sales opportunities to meet or exceed sales order targets.Plan, develop and implement strategies for consistent competitor customer analysis working closely with the global competitive intelligence team.Acquire and prioritize customer requirements for products and services to the Business Line (product management) while ensuring the voice of the customer and market is reflected.The right stuff:In addition, the Business Manager will have shared responsibilities with the Cluster Leaders, Sales Directors, and Account Managers for developing the market, meeting the orders target, revenue, market share and profitability objectives which is why you must have the following skills:Ability to work autonomously, results oriented, analytical, solid project management skills and a team player.Strong interpersonal skills with ability to develop/leverage internal/external relationships.Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of Elekta's product portfolio.Demonstrable business acumen and commercial mindset.Strong ethical standards, values, and good judgement.Persistent, enduring and prepared to make strong personal commitments.Ability to develop and or improve work processes and routines.What you’ll bring:Proven sales and negotiation experience within capital medical equipment and/or medical devices industry. A driven sales attitude with a strong desire to win a complex sale, often requiring unique approaches and persistence for the long run (Minimum 5 years successful sales experience).Bachelor’s Degree (clinical or business oriented) or equivalent knowledge acquired through business experience.Previous experience as a Medical Physicist or as a Radiation Therapist is a bonusCompetences in information systems in the hospital world advantageousAbility to work both strategically as well as operationally. This includes the ability to interact directly with customers across all disciplines (technologist, medical physicist, radiation oncologist, administrator, C-level) and build/maintain strong customer relationships.Solid knowledge and experience of the medical devices industry, CT, MR imaging and radiotherapy/radiosurgery/neurosurgery experience is preferred - Ideally knowledge and understanding of radiosurgery and radiation oncology and clinical workflows.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Skilled speaker and representative in social contacts and ability to communicate with multi-disciplinary professions at all levels of authority.Familiarity with IT including the following software: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM (Salesforce), Qlik sense, Seismic and other tools. Fluency in English and having native or full proficiency skills in of the three languages: Italian, Spanish, or French is required, speaking one other of the three languages is a bonus.The position requires extensive travel at c. 50-75%.A driving licence is required for this role.What you’ll get:In this role, you will work for a higher purpose; hope for everyone dealing with cancer, and for everyone regardless of where in the world, to have access to the best cancer care.
