Santander Digital Services is looking for a Network Architect based in Madrid.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The purpose of this role is to define Global Network Architectures to support Santander Group digital transformation.

• Designing highly available, fault tolerant and automated network solutions for LAN and WAN environments as well as in public cloud (AWS and Azure).
• Defining processes, procedures, and guidelines for driving the evolution of Networks to be automated, orchestrated and software based.
• Explaining architectures and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactively identify weak areas and inefficiencies across network and infrastructure.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

• Demonstrable experience in architecting / building highly available and fault tolerant network and infrastructure solutions in LAN / WAN and/or cloud service providers (AWS / Azure)
• Knowledge in engineering and architecting SD-WAN, SDN and SDx solutions
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Viptela, FortiGate or VMware Velocloud
• Industry standard Network Certification CCIE/JNCIE, CCNP or equivalent

It would also be nice for you to have.

• Experience working in DevOps, CI/CD and Agile methodologies.
• SDN knowledge of market leader solutions, including SD-WAN.
• In-depth understanding of Load Balancers and DNS.
• Proven experience with at least one mainstream programming language.
