Job Purpose

Develop and publish the monthly schedule of crew members (pilots / TCP) of all flights operated globally by Vueling in the bases assigned, in accordance with Company planning standards and strategy, and with the current regulatory framework, in order to achieve maximum productivity & efficiency, flight crew satisfaction and quality of life, and assure the compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Main Accountabilities

Main Responsibilities - Tasks

Collect, from different departments, all necessary and relevant information about flights and flight crew preassignments, and load it in the roster planning tool.

Parameterize the schedule with all the information collected, optimize assignments, and analyze & validate the result.

Publish the monthly roster schedule of the next month for crew.

Elaborate feedback reports for all the departments involved.

Any other responsibility or function that is assigned inherent to the job.

Main Relationships

In order to ensure that all the necessary information is available to carry out the planning, and identify the working days to fly.

In order to assure the best solution for the Company and for the employee, and the compliance with productivity & efficiency needs, flight crew requests, satisfaction and quality of life, and with all legal and regulatory requirements.

In order to let them know, 14 days before the beginning of the month, what days they are going to work and what days they are going to take off.

For the continuous improvement of the roster scheduling process.

That it is in the employee´s hand in order to fulfill the mission of the job.

Education

  • Ideally - University Degree (i.e. aeronautical management).

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of airport/airline relevant experience.
  • Ideally - Professional Roster tools (Jeppesen Rostering).
  • Ideally - Professional Crew Management Tools (AIMS).

Languages

  • Spanish and English fluency.
