Core Engineer

Job Description Our client, a leading globaltelecommunication company, is recruiting for a Core Engineer to join their business inSpain.Responsibilities:Mobile or Fixed core network delivery, including service delivery solution, preparation in pre-sale phase, HLD/LLD design, software commissioning, integration, acceptance testing, software upgrade, service migration and L2 maintenance.Analyze, troubleshoot and optimize the Network Performance identifying potential issues and dealing with Customer IncidentsInvolve in the System / Function Verification, trial projects and support activitiesMonitor and manage project progress, reporting to the management team with progress and issues. Ensure completion of projects within timeline and scope of work.Lead the technical workshop with customers, including engineering team, planning team, operations teamShare knowledge to the team and provide technical assistance to them.Qualifications:2+ years’ experience in telecom equipment vendor hands-on experience in required technologies solution design, deployment, service migration and maintenanceGood knowledge of Core Network systems including VAS Platforms (SMS, MMS, VMS), IMS (or vIMS), EPC (or vEPC) and IN.Very good knowledge of Cloud/OpenStack/VNF.Good knowledge of IP, UNIX/LINUXSelf-organized, able to prioritize and execute multiple tasks efficiently.Ability to solve complex issues working in major incidents together with Customer Teams and R&D Teams.Quick learner, willing to take challenges, thriving in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.Flexible, showing initiative, perseverance and have good communication & co-operation skills, strong team-work.Proactive, customer-oriented with good customer communications. Reporting and good analytical levelA Core Network Vendor Experience is a plusFluent English and fluent Spanish
