The Director of Business Development for the Hotel segment promotes and sells ForwardKeys data and solutions to the hotel community with a focus on indirect sales. Reporting to the CCO, you will leverage your network to present the values of ForwardKeys' unique value proposition to business intelligence, analytics, revenue management operators, and hotel chains worldwide.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop sales plans and lead execution: Execute against a sales development plan that is jointly defined with management in assessing the underlying business opportunity and how they relate to the overall company strategy and ambition.
  2. Collaborate with marketing and product: Keep track of customer needs and convert this information with other departments to optimize our solutions. In cooperation with the marketing team, you will develop the best go-to-market strategies and lead gen conversion.
  3. Industry expertise and representation: Represent ForwardKeys in relevant major events worldwide to take stage and promote our solutions and nurture our network with the industry.
  4. Team player, networker, sales business execution: Work closely with the sales team and the Customer Success teams. With your specific market knowledge for Hotels, enthusiasm, and energy, you will keep the momentum going for ForwardKeys within this market segment.
  5. Utilizing infrastructure, systems and product development to support the success of the Hotel segment: The optimization of the SalesForce structure will enable you to manage the use of budgets, pipeline development, account planning, and provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting. As we continue to develop our product strategy, you will have the ability to deliver value-based solutions for Hospitality.
Personal skills and experience
  1. Level of education: First degree level. MBA is a plus.
  2. At least 10 years of proven experience in delivering consistently high sales performance in a multinational environment.
  3. Demonstrable success in consistently delivering high annual revenue growth rates and in identifying new business opportunities.
  4. Key skills: be a negotiator, have travel industry expertise, and be hands-on. Ability to think out of the box and build creative business models.
  5. Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to understand data. Working language is English.
