You will collect and analyze complex financial information related to the IAA’s costs, closely monitoring plan vs. actuals, coordinating and collecting the explanations of variances; providing reporting andcommentary to the leadership team; liaising with the central and local finance teams, ensuring compliance with submission deadlines and performing ad-hoc analysis.The Senior Cost Analyst is expected to possess knowledge of financial budgeting, strategic planning, communication, and people management processes.At Zurich, we want you to reach your potential and be the best version of you.With a brand-new office, hybrid work models and career growth options, there’s never been a better time to join us.**Your role****As a Senior Cost Analyst your main responsibilities will involve**- Analyzes expenses and cost transactions; ensures that transactions are recorded accurately and assigned to the right cost center, and where appropriate, challenge allocations of costs to and between services and locations- Stakeholder communication and engagement, acting as a trusted advisor to leadership team and other stakeholders by providing valuable insights- Supporting stakeholders through provision of accurate, timely and insightful headcount and cost information and submission of IAA charges to global and local finance- Analyzing costs to identify and recommend opportunities to increase efficiency and to mitigate risks- Supporting cost centre owners to run forecast and plan and investigating variances in plan vs. actuals vs. estimated forecast for all locations- Responsibility for IAA charging process, liaises with stakeholders,conducts market research to recommend changes to pricing or business models- Recommendations for methods of improving financial processes and reporting, delivering efficiency enhancements and cost savings- Building and maintaining an internal network, to include a range of stakeholders, collaborating across the organization (IAA stakeholders, IM cost controller, global and local finance, tax and transfer pricing)- Participation in business planning activities which may include financial, technological (data, platform) and resource planning- Acts as single point of contact within IAA for submission of Forecast and Planning figures to Group IM, and supporting PMO with cost controlling tasks for Projects.- Participation in devising and monitoring of internal cost governance activities- Working with external service providers to manage or evaluate their provision,monitor their performance and ensure service level agreements are followed**Your Skills and Experience****As a Senior Cost Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include**:- Degree in Business Administration, Finance and/or Accounting, or equivalent.- At least 8 year's working experience in related field.- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills- Financial Awareness & Acumen (e.G. understanding relevant financial concepts and accounting principles)- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and maturity- Proactive attitude and is willing and able to adapt to change- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Systems skills including advanced Excel and affinity with data visualization tools e.G.PowerBi- Strong analytical skills to challenge business case assumptions- Fluent in English is a must**Additional Information****As well as a competitive salary and a yearly bonus we offer benefits package which includes**:- Flexible working hours- Wide range of internal and external trainings- Free English and Spanish classes depending on the needs- Ticket restaurant- Life Insurance- Pension Plan - after 1 year in the company- Referral bonus if you bring other talented people like you- Special banking and insurance conditions- Exclusive Employees discountsLI-Hybrid**Who we are**Looking for a challenging and inspiring work environment where you can make a difference?
