Wealth Management&Insuare division is looking for an Operational Due Diligence Third-Party Funds Senior Analyst , based in our Boadilla office.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a member of Santander Wealth Management & Insurance you will have to perform operational due diligence reviews on prospective and existing third party Investment Funds, which includes not only Traditional Funds (Mutual Funds and ETFs) but also Alternative Funds opportunities (Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Debt...).

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

  • Conduct operational due diligence reviews on prospective and existing Asset Managers across all asset classes (Mutual Funds, ETFs, Private Markets Real Estate, Infrastructure and Venture Capital)
  • Evaluating qualifications of key non-investment personnel, operational infrastructure, written policies and procedures of investment managers.
  • Identifying and evaluating operational red flags and addressing issues with applicable Asset Manager personnel
  • Participating in onsite meetings with manager leadership teams (COO, CFO, CCO etc).
  • Preparing written summaries of managers’ operational capabilities across traditional and alternative investment strategies

EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience in audit, compliance, operational due diligence, or fund accounting experience, strongly preferred.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar. Master´s degree is a plus.
  • High level of English is a must.
  • CFA or CAIA is a bonus but not requirement

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Experience of the Investment Management industry and associated products, leading to an understanding of the business model and associated risks.
