Across the globe, Lilly employees work to discover and bring life-changing medicines to those who need them, improve the understanding and management of disease, and give back to communities through philanthropy and volunteerism.Due to growth and launch activities, we are seeking an Executive Director-Clinical Research Physician in the International Business Unit (IBU) team which cover priority countries from Europe, Middle, east, Asian-Pacific and Latin-American to ensure successful commercial decisions for new dermatology assets and consolidation of launches for recently approved dermatology productsWe are looking for you to be a member of the Lilly Immunology IBU Medical team alongside with rheumatology and gastroenterology colleagues, being front and centre in the strategic planning in the support of regulatory, access, launch and post- approval commercialisation activities to secure right disease strategy, critical content and studies that would cover unmeet patients’ needs and ultimately enhance the key stakeholders experience in interacting with the company.Responsibilities: Using your medical expertise in immune mediated disease, focusing on dermatology across the Lilly Immunology portfolioLeading clinical research activities related to the Dermatology portfolio across IBU regions.Partnering with relevant functions within Lilly teams also contributing to regulatory, safety, research and publicationsDevelopment, review and approval of educational/promotional materials for the brand team.Developing effective partnerships with clinicians, other key influencers and external groups and relevant medical societies.Supporting the Global teams with Local launch related processes including collaborating with other internal functions Medical Affairs, Medical Education, Marketing/Brand, business planning and the approval appropriate materials.Offering your scientific input, contribute to the development, review and approval of promotional materials for the brand team.Provision of Medical ExpertiseScientific and academic background or strong pharma industry experience with proven impact factorEnsure detailed, up-to-date knowledge of the data surrounding the respective Molecule(s).Collborate with Global Regulatory team on strategy.Input into regulatory submissions and Health Technology Assessments (HTAs)Drive and take accountability for the process and content of scientific publications, using this to provide initial and ongoing disease, product and competitor training.Clinical Planning/Clinical Research/Trial Execution and Support Input into the development of Global and Regional relevant Clinical Trial (CT) plans and strategy for Incretin portfolio.Implement, in consultation with the Clinical Operations lead, the Global / Regional CT plan with Quality, Speed and Value.Support for Investigator Initiated Trial process for the portfolio.External RelationsIdentify and engage with Health Care Professionals (HCPs), Advocacy Groups, government and other professional bodies as determined by business needs.Share and involve relevant HCPs in new developments / data surrounding the productDrive appropriate involvement of relevant HCPs with publications and product communications.Qualifications: Basic Medical Qualification (MBBS/MD) with a deep therapeutic area clinical expertise in dermatology ( ideally PhD)Evidence of at least 3 years’ experience in relevant Drug Development and Medical Affairs activities in the Pharmaceutical industry or published academic research background Demonstrate a track record of key contributions to scientific knowledge in the field of Dermatology.Deep understanding and working relationships with key International Opinion Leaders and professional organisations in the field Dermatology.Excellent communication skills (presentation, written and verbal) - Fluent in English.Demonstrated ability to plan, organise, prioritise and adapt to changing needs.Embracing diversity is at the core of our long-held value of respect for people.
