Overview: Job Description : As Product Marketing Manager within SITA FOR AIRCRAFT (a business division of SITA), you will contribute towards the development of our portfolio and its successful positioning in the marketplace in line with the company’s vision and objectives. You will have a keen understanding of the product’s target audience and in-depth knowledge of relevant product features. You will be responsible for the creation and distribution of compelling marketing collaterals and promotional campaigns for key products, helping to achieve our business growth.

As a key member of the Product extended team, you will partner with product managers and sales to understand customers’ needs to build the right products that fit relevant customer use cases and work closely with our demand generation and brand marketing teams to build out key marketing strategies and creative content. You will help convey the “Why SITA FOR AIRCRAFT” story internally and externally and will have the opportunity to build and sustain excellent relationships with the Corporate Communications, Sales Regions, 3rd party industry bodies and other stakeholders to develop marketing activities that will generate impact.

Qualifications: What You Will Do

  • Work closely with Product Managers to understand the product and be the customer and market voice, helping to shape the product value proposition
  • Own and create compelling messages for our products, reaching target audience across different channels and platforms with the right positioning
  • Use your product expertise and stellar writing skills to create marketing materials and campaigns that are aligned with our corporate vision and our customers’ needs
  • Constantly aim to improve messaging and marketing content through well planned validation
  • Own the go-to-market strategy and execution for new products and releases
  • Partner with customer-facing teams to create and deliver successful sales enablement materials
  • Define and drive targeted promotional campaigns in support of sales leads and pipeline generation
  • Lead the planning and execution of the participation in key industry events for your portfolio
  • Work closely with product marketing partners to drive communication of joint value proposition
  • Analyse competitor’s offerings to identify potential gaps and contribute to SITA’s competitive intelligence
  • Work closely with all functions of Corporate Marketing and ensure that the interest/needs of the Portfolios are considered when planning and executing initiatives

About You

  • Minimum of five (5) years of combined product marketing, promotional copywriting, sales enablement, and technical product evangelism experience required
  • Experience in IT, air transport, travel or telecommunication industries preferred
  • Degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field required
  • Relevant experience in end-to-end product sales campaign, including product launches
  • Must have demonstrable experience in creating compelling and effective marketing and sales enablement content for technical products
  • Experience with B2B commercial models
  • Ideally you will have SaaS or enterprise software marketing experience to understand the customer buying processes and how marketing influences different stages in the process
  • The ability to analyse relevant information and make informed decisions
  • Outstanding ability to learn quickly and execute swiftly in a fast-paced, technology-based environment
  • Project management skills

  • Experience working in a global environment with virtual teams
