Compliance is looking for a Manager of FCC Policy and Advisory , based in our Boadilla del Monte office.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Manager of FCC Policy and Advisory you will be expected to actively contribute to the management and supervision of the Financial Crime control framework in Santander through the definition and transposition of the full suite of AML policies and procedures across the group units and through providing high quality advisory to ensure the proper functioning and implementation of the Group's FCC strategy.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

  • Supports Senior Manager of FCC Policy / Advisory, managing medium-complexity escalations from across the Group on FCC Horizon-scanning on developing regulation and regulatory guidance, conducting impact assessments on existing internal regulation Working closely with Group entities to implement and embed the suite of FCC policies and procedures.
  • Provides initial draft changes to procedures or protocols for evaluation by Head of Policy Tracks waivers and temporary dispensations across Group, providing advisory support in mitigating FCC risk while implement strategic.
  • Provides advisory support to innovative / product initiatives within the Group Identifies continuous improvement opportunities for FCC, leads benchmarking activities and supports the ongoing FCC transformation plan Fluent in English.

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working in Spanish preferred. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required, including drafting internal memos and presentations for executive leadership within Group.
  • 6-8+ years of experience in an FCC advisory role with a multinational Tier 1 bank.

EDUCATION

  • Business Administration, Finance, Law or similar degrees

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Languages: Spanish and English (at least C1).
  • Extensive knowledge of AML regulations, international experience valued MS Office expert (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)
  • Ability to work in changing and dynamic environments.

OTHER INFORMATION

Contributor accountable for the delivery and execution of the strategic financial crime compliance and conduct strategic agenda in collaboration with the wider function and business areas.
