About The Role : About this opportunity

M&E Engineer is a be a key member of Building Surveying team supporting Technical Due Diligence projects in Spain. Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Delivering high quality services and ensuring that building surveying deliverables meet customer’s requirements within M&E disciplines
• Participation in technical audit and building surveying commissions for new builds, renovations and maintenance works.
• Condition reports
• Preparing design calculations
• Preparing and managing planned maintenance programmes
• Quality monitoring
• Advising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or that might arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insurance

About You : Who we’re looking for : Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills

• Minimum 5 years experience in the construction sector
• Global knowledge of facilities: design and Spanish building regulations
• Desirable experience in Technical Due Diligence, Project Monitoring, review and/or preparation of projects
• Sound ICT skills
• Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English

Qualifications

• Engineering degree - Electrical or Mechanical
