WHAT WE OFFER
Se requiere Lead Engineer CSA/piping para llevar a cabo los proyectos de ingeniería de ampliación en la planta de Covestro en Barcelona ( Zona Franca).
Main tasks and responsibilities: Lead the disciplines of CSA (Civil, Structural and Acrquitechtural) and Piping for different Capital Projects to be developed for the Chemical industry,
Serves as project engineer expert and lead discipline representative for design, construction and implementation of investment projects - interfacing with technical professionals from other disciplines (e.g. PCT, project engineering, procurement, environmental and utility services operations, and process development).
Reports to the Project Manager proposing design alternatives, construction strategy, detailed schedule and cost estimation for the represented area.
Creates, maintains and develops standards for project design and plant operating documentation (e.g. P&IDs, Lay-outs, Isometric Drawings) and validation of 3D Model and Constructability documents.
Validates Bill of Materials, Take-offs and Specifications on the detail design phase to be used for Procurement and Construction contracts.
Compiles formats and submits project data necessary for timely and accurate filing with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
Supervise and validate construction activities for the mechanical discipline in cooperation with Construction Manager.
Perform QA/QC for mechanical discipline during execution and commissioning phases.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s or Master´s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Structural Engineering.
Related Experience: Experience in Project Engineering and Construction Management in a manufacturing environment.
Broad technical background: excellent knowledge of structural, mechanical and piping design specifications.
Experience in Projects for Chemical or Oil&Gas Industries.
Fluent in English.
