DEVELOPMENT LEAD

We are collaborating with a multinational FMCG company who is currently involved in one of the most relevant Global ERP Transformation Project worldwide. They are expanding their team with a new role, looking for top SAP professionals, who will have a key position in the organization.

Key Responsibilities

The Development Lead is responsible for providing professional leadership and management of the SAP development team to ensure high quality of the delivered solution, effective use of resources and ongoing improvements of the delivery and development processes.

He/she has the following responsibilities:

  • Leads a team of developers to implement features in accordance with the designs provided by the Solution Specialist
  • Responsible for team management (incl. recruitment, individual development, motivation, upskilling, etc.)
  • Monitors work activities of the development team to determine compliance with established procedures and the achievement of objectives
  • Identify risks and issues and escalate accordingly
  • Develops practices and procedures to manage technologies based on best practice standards
  • Leads effort to develop technical standards to support and operate technologies within the system landscape
  • Collaborates with team to determine strategy and plan for system implementations and upgrades

Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors of Science Degree, in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or Information Systems
  • Languages: Fluent in English
  • Professional experience:
  • 6+ years of related SAP development experience is required
  • Experience in management of SAP development team
  • Knowledge of the SAP module related to the business/functional domain
  • Ideally, experience in Fiori Launchpad Configurations, Troubleshooting, Performance Optimization of Standard and Custom Fiori applications
  • Personal skills:
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Strong customer and quality focus, detail-oriented
  • Team spirit and collaboration at a global scale
  • Synthesis and analytical capabilities
  • Good interpersonal skills

Travel Requirements

This role will likely require a 40%-50% commute structure depending on project phases and requirements. Further details will be provided closer towards project commencement.
