User Research while collaborating with various stakeholders and Product Owners The ideal candidate would be able not only to be the user advocate but also to be able to make the right balance between the user and the business needs in every stage of the design process till the final output Youll also use your technical expertise and design knowhow to help our team communicate more fluidly and rapidly If youre ready to soar were ready to take you thereWhy eDreams ODIGEOJoin the worlds leading travel subscription platform and one of the largest ecommerce businesses in Europe20 million customers 44 markets 5 brands 52M members in Prime162 million bookings FY23 More than 50000 bookings per day 100 million daily user searches1400 employees More than 50 different nationalities 99 permanent contracts 363 average ageWere a leading travel tech company revolutionising the travel booking experience through our consumer insight innovative technology market leadership and Prime the worlds first travel subscription programOurProduct Design teamis one of the largest in Spain and were continuing to grow with a multidisciplined team of Product Designers UX Researchers Principal Design System and UX EngineersWe have moved to a newly refurbished office thats centrally located in Barcelona We have a UX lab that supports our ability to apply a customer focused and dataoriented approach to our overall process Were a funloving Product Design team whos passionate about many things including learning sharing knowledge innovation and bestinclass user experienceKey Responsibilities:Create engaging easytouse mobile web and desktop design solutions that address business and user needsLeverage research insights both qualitative and quantitative trends and best practices to recommend and influence the product experience Connect design decisions to desired business goals and outcomesContribute to highlevel strategic decisions with the rest of the product teamParticipate in user research activities and usability studies to be able to iterate design solutions based on customer dataLead and facilitate brainstorming sessions and workshops with multidisciplinary teams during early stages of product ideationEmbrace collaborative approaches to design Work closely with product management user research and engineers throughout design development and implementation cyclesProduce concept models journey maps interaction flows wireframes interactive prototypes and mockupsProduce pixelperfect production assets and design specifications and work with engineers to implement design solutionsPresent your design work to peers and partners with exceptional presentation communication and negotiation skills Be a leader both inside the Product Design group as well as within a product teamUnderstand our brands our aesthetic and our differentiators become a brand steward in everything you contributeGive and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar for qualityHelp cultivate a strong design culture within the eDreams Odigeo Product Design team through organizing opportunities for skills sharing andor developing thought leadership within the Product Design community through teaching and speaking opportunitiesDrive Product Design vision in alignment with product roadmapsRequired Qualifications:3 to 5 years professional Product Design experience as a key member of a Product Design team participating in the product development lifecycle of several successfully delivered web mobile andor software applicationsExperience in designing for ecommerce platforms across all platformsBachelors degree in design related field or equivalent professional experienceSolid knowledge of Sketch or Adobe Photoshop or IllustratorDemonstrated experience using analytics data to inform design decisionsDemonstrated experience on doing usability testing and design research activities or collaborating with a UX research teamStrong organizational skillsStrong presentation skills with the ability to speak to and defend your decision making yet be able to have open direct and respectful conversations to ensure we reach the best possible design solutions as a teamUnderstanding of complex ecommerce businesses preferably with travel industry experienceExcellent attention to detail; a demonstrated experience of interaction design typography color and page layoutAn online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating your Product Design skillsEnglish speaker with good written verbal and presentation abilitiesTeam player with a positive attitude and sense of humorWhats in it for you?
