Technology Hub located in Barcelona, is one of the service units of MediaMarktSaturn Technology to deliver adequate staffing and engineering skills for the agreed deliveries of the global deployment plan for the entire group.

Job Position

We, in Modern Workplace, are the owners of the new Paperless Workplace concept. We are establishing a new standardized printer concept on an international level and providing an optimally defined paperless experience (digital signature and digital archiving) in our offices and stores.

Tasks

• Implement a PoC (Proof of Concept) & select the global provider through call for tenders process
• Develop the roadmap for the rollout of the global digital archiving solution in all companies inside the group
• Troubleshooting system and server errors, monitoring system performance
• Assessing the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows systems
• Act as Rollout Manager (technical side) of the digital archiving project
• Perform process analysis and optimization of document flows with regard to organizational and technical processes
• Be involved in the digital archiving implementation including user training and ongoing support
• Actively take part in the digital archiving implementation including any necessary validations (implementation, test, training, rollout)
• Assume responsibility for the digital archiving 2nd level support

What you bring with you

• University degree desirable.
• Very good knowledge of various digital archiving solutions
• Experience in working with OCR solutions
• Advanced English skills both written and verbal
• Several years of professional experience in the field of digital archiving are a benefit
• Experience in the selection of suitable DMS solutions is an advantage, regardless of printer manufacturer
• Good knowledge of concept development with more than 10,000 printers and more than 20 mil. archived documents / year
• Experience as a rollout manager is a plus
• IT service management experience - ITIL Foundation certification preferably
• Experience in working with Agile methods (Scrum or Kanban)
