Mechanical Engineer (m/f/x)

(Swiss Industrial Multinational) we are dedicated to the design, manufacture and marketing of our worldwide patented mechanical and robotic packaging positioning machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Development:
    Create detailed mechanical designs and 3D models using CAD software. Develop prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs.
  2. Analysis:
    Perform stress, strain, thermal or any other analysis to ensure the reliability and durability of components and systems.
  3. Manufacturing Support:
    Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, including selecting materials and methods. Work closely with production teams to implement designs.
  4. Project Management:
    Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  5. Quality Assurance:
    Implement quality control procedures and standards. Conduct inspections and testing to ensure products meet specifications.
  6. Documentation:
    Prepare contents for technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and maintenance guides.
  7. Compliance:
    Ensure designs and processes comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety codes.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related role.
  3. Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  4. Strong analytical skills.
  5. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials science.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  7. Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  8. Effective communication (English and Spanish) and teamwork skills.
  9. Experience with quality control and assurance processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  2. Experience in packaging industry.
  3. Familiarity with sustainability practices and environmental impact analysis.
