Job Description : The Senior Accounting Manager will manage a set of accounting activities to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies and external audits. This person will manage the accounts payable function, monthly closing of accounts and preparation of reports in support of the financial statements.

The Senior Accounting Manager will report to and work closely with the Director/a of Accounting & Reporting and others in the organization in analysis and reconciliation of accounts and in development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures and controls.

Main responsibilities

  • Managing all main and sub ledger accounting activities (Treasury, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Payroll posting, Operational Costs, Travel Expenses).
  • Review, correct and secure current accounting record.
  • Prepare closing reports, coordinate the closing process (monthly, quarterly, yearly) with external service providers (payroll, taxes).
  • Reconciliation of Customer accounts, Supplier Accounts and GL Accounts.
  • Intercompany reconciliation.
  • Analyses and improvement of internal processes.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.

Requirements :

  • Proficiency in English, additional language skills such as French, German or Italian are highly valued.
  • SAP Business One knowledge.
  • College degree in Finance or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 years
  • experience in a similar position.
  • Accounting, excel and another MS Office Software skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
  • Team player and open minded.
  • Understanding of general busines dynamics and processes.
  • Analytical skills.

Skills and responsibilities

  • Keep daily track of the banks
  • Accounts Payable - In order to maintain great relationships with vendors making sure that everyone gets paid on time.
  • Accounts Receivable - Another critical duty of the accounting department is to account for and track receivables, including outstanding invoices and any required collection actions. The responsibility here includes assuring that customers pay those invoices on time.
  • Support ART Computer Team.
  • Reporting to the Finance Director/a on all day-to-day issues.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all supplier invoices are paid on time.
  • Responsible for customers paying on time Responsible for the ecommerce sites functioning and results.
  • Responsible for reconciling payments and accounts.
  • Team player and open minded.
  • Ability to plan and priories with a flexible and positive mindset.

Working time

The company offers flexitime From Monday to Thursday between 08:00 h and 09:00 h, with 1 hour lunch until 17:00 h and 18:00 h and Fridays from 08:00 h to 15:00 h.

Homework is available to all team members twice per week.
