The Environment and Consumer Protection Office is looking to fill a position in the IT specialist applications department as a IT specialist (m/f/d) to be filled for a limited period until 31.12.2025. The special specialist procedures to be supported as part of the Cologne Environmental Information System (UIS) are mainly ArcGIS / ArcGIS Pro, SDI-Suite, QGIS (geodata processing/geodata management), ASPE (species and animal protection), Balvi IP and Balvi Mobil XT (food and animal disease monitoring), ImmisLuft (air pollutants), LimA (noise), GWBase (groundwater data management), GKSMate (goods handling border control point) and the UMsys plus successor systems ProBau/ProUmwelt, which is currently being replaced, as an interdisciplinary environmental management system for handling processes relating to contaminated sites, construction coordination, tree protection, soil protection, IWA, UNB and environmental planning.
