We employ more than 15,000 people globally to support our great brands: Levi’s®, Dockers®, Denizen®, Signature by Levi Strauss & Co.™ and Beyond Yoga. Job & Purpose: The Franchise Operations Specialist oversees all contractual agreements with franchise partners and is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations across our franchise network.This role focuses on providing support to franchise partners, implementing operational best practices, and facilitating communication between franchisees and corporate teams. The goal is to enhance overall operational performance and contribute to the success of our franchise partners.Back up and replacement for open positions within the team – development opportunities into Real Estate Manager or Partner DMKey Results:Operational Excellence/Compliance & StandardsImplement and maintain standardized operational procedures across the franchise network.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.Ensure franchisees adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.Implement and oversee retail/omni capabilities based on LS&Co. DTC standardsFranchisee Support:Provide ongoing support to franchise partners and partner district managers, addressing operational queries and concerns.Conduct regular check-ins (QBR’s) to review operational performance and offer assistance.Communication and Collaboration:Act as a liaison between franchisees and corporate support teams.Facilitate communication channels to ensure timely and effective information flow.Contracts & Legal DocumentsOversees all contractual agreements and critical dates and creates actions and follow up to ensure contractual security and consistencyKey Responsibilities:Oversees entire store portfolio (partner & O&O), ensures data accuracy in Partner Retail Stores Overview and Expansion/Capex Tracker.Support to set up Strategical Business Pan and Distribution Strategy across all marketsCapex budget control – follow up, update & alignment with finance planning for finance plan and forecastsAFP & QBR building & works closely with finance planning to control and analyses performance and kpi, identifies opportunities and blind spots in the businessInternal communication and coordination of tasks in partner retail and real estatePrepares meetings and overviews for ongoing projects (status renewals, closings, new projects) and discuss further proceduresCreates presentations, dashboards and reporting filesExecute/manage dedicated projects and tasks as delegated within framework of role and /or set of competencies and key member of Franchise Business UnitOwnership of partner data base – control and flag critical dates and updates – alignment with real estate & partner team to ensure accuracyPreparation of monthly cluster real estate boardSupporting fleet/portfolio reviews with the team, building rent & performance analysisFlags and follows up contractual contract end dates, break options and critical datesSetting up contracts, addendums, with legal/external lawyers, incl. signing processPreparation of SBD´s, Store Briefs (RPB), meetings/presentations (e.g. partner QBR´s)Commercial implementation and support of xstore and omni channel capabilities in partner stores – project management and commercial counterpart – commercial interface between IT and franchise partnerReview and flag operational blind spots of partner business based on kpi analysis to achieve operational excellence in partner storesSetting up FR store schedules, addendums to MFA with legal/external lawyers, incl. signing processCreating annual real estate action plans for each partner and follows up with partner/real estate teamSupport partner store opening processes, following up on status quo, connecting departments to ensure smooth store openingsQuarterly DIP/Bonus process for Partner DM´s – calculation and communication to finance planning and HR/payrollMarket research and market mapping - collaboration with 3rd parties and collecting, evaluating and archiving market data, preparation of market reviews and competitor analysesTravel: 90% office, 10% travelEducation: Completed apprenticeship or university degree in commercial business fieldExperience:Background in retail and real estate is ideal2+ years of work experience in similar role or in retail businessSpecialized Knowledge/Technical Skills:Organizational talent and strong communication skills (internal & external)Result oriented and business mindedAnalytical mindset and understanding of financials and kpi´sFluency English in written and spokenComputer literate and system mindedWell-organized, detail minded and highly accuratePassionate about Retail and Fashion industryExcellent MS Office skillsExcellent time management and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and be able to prioritize in a fast paced environmentDecision Making and Problem solving: Pragmatic problem-solving attitudeExcellent team player, collaboration skillsProven ability to build and maintain productive working relationshipsInternal & External Relationships:Internal: O&O DM & Operations, Real Estate, Partner DM’s, FP&A, Retail IT, Legal, Planning/TradingExternal: Franchise & Commissionaire Partner, Brokers/DevelopersLOCATIONBarcelona, SpainFULL TIME/PART TIMEFull timeCurrent LS&Co Employees
