This position will be funded partially by the project PID2020-112684GB-I00 from the MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033. ICIQ is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to work in the group of Prof. Arjan Kleij. Responsibilities The candidate is expected to contribute and develop to the areas of sustainable synthesis and polymer development, with a particular focus on catalysis as a key enabling technology Requirements We are looking for candidates with a strong, proven track record and passion for sustainable organic synthesis and biopolymer development. A background in these areas is a hard requisite. We expect the canidate to contribute to the management of the group as a senior assiociate, and develop a great deal of independent research in the realm of the key areas essential to the interest of the group Valued qualities: Organic synthesis – polymer chemistry – homogeneous catalysis – excellent writing and communication skills – high independence – critical thinking We offer: A full-time 3-year contract.
