LI: DNI Key Accountabilities: Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve faults for VOIP and TDM services according to product SLAs, up to 3rd Level Support. : Able to check the call flows of customer traces and should have clear understanding of the concepts : Knowledge or experience with interfacing into Optical and Ethernet: based Networks would be advantageous. : Have full knowledge of customers bespoke solutions and services. : Mentor a group of Lead Engineers on solutions and supported technologies. : Build and maintain working relationships with key interconnect partners and vendors. : Manage and coordinate tasks assigned to other teams, e.g. Technical Assistance Centre (TAC). : Maintain a clear and accurate record of events throughout a fault duration utilizing COLT internal company ticketing system and provide regular updates as and when required. : Identify, Plan and Implement solutions for re: occurring Problems on VOIP and TDM services. : Technically manage software upgrades in co: ordination with vendor and Colt teams involved. : Create technical documentation, Troubleshoot guides and Method of procedure to execute configuration changes. Required Experience: Direct experience in but not limited to the following: Excellent understanding of SIP trunking and Intelligent numbers services, includingvarious protocols, including SIP, RTP and RTCP, IP,C7 or ISUP. : Experience in diagnosing, provisioning and troubleshooting Sip trunking, and Intelligent numbers solutions across a pan European network. : Excellent knowledge of Voice services portfolio : Experience in working with global providers, NOC and 3rd Level teams for technical issues. Also good to have: Good understanding and proven troubleshooting experience in some of the following vendors and associated equipment: Ribbon, SBC (Session border controller), GSX,PSX, Nortel DMS, Confidencial EWSD, Cisco, Juniper (Routers) would be an advantage. : Experience with ITIL. : Scripting Required Soft Skills: A logical approach to fault finding and troubleshooting. : Ability to control and co: ordinate complex technical situations in a calm and professional manner. : Excellent customer facing skills, dealing with specialist requests regarding Overall Solutions and not limited to a single technology. : Customer focused and able to communicate effectively skills with all required parties including internal/external network partners and customers. : Fluency in English.
