Company Description NIQ is the world’s leading consumer intelligence company.As part of the EMEA Regional CMI Growth team, you will be responsible for developing business with existing FMCG clients. Your focus will be on key client segments like G14 and IV25. You will be working in collaboration with NIQ CBPs and with CMI in country sellers to 1) develop business with existing CMI clients further 2) build business with clients who don’t currently buy our CMI solutions.

You will be a pivotal point of contact for the Marketing, Research, Sales and General Departments on a portfolio of key FMCG accounts.

You will take responsibility for driving proactive client conversations, building relevance through tailoring key CMI solutions of relevance to them and to the growth of their brands.

Whilst you essentially won’t be responsible for proposal writing per se, you will also be responsible for ensuring that any opportunities are responded to with “best in class” solutions - bringing together the right category and solution experts in every instance.

As a Commercial Activation Director, you will have the following main responsibilities:

  • You will develop your business portfolio on a daily basis - in successful collaboration with the CBP community and CMI in country sellers.
  • You will strive to create a close relationship with your customers by gaining a thorough understanding of their key issues, multiplying the points of contact within their organization and becoming a privileged interlocutor.
  • You will develop NIQ-GfK's reputation and image among your customers and/or in the sector for which you are responsible.
  • Commercial excellence is your daily business: building action plans, close relations with solutions experts, NIQ CBPs and CMI in country sellers.
  • With the support from the Regional Growth Lead, you drive your business and cultivate a results-oriented culture.

As part of the EMEA Regional CMI Growth team, you will play an active role in its collective success and development. Qualifications Now that you know what the Commercial Activation Director does, what skills, qualifications and experience do you need?

  • You have significant experience in CMI research, and a good knowledge of GfK and NIQ methodologies and solutions.
  • You ideally have strong technical experience in either Brand, Consumer Understanding, Comms Effectiveness, Consumer Trends or in Shopper Research (or ideally several of these areas).
  • You are commercial and results-oriented - and are skilled in internal and external relationship building.
  • You have strong communication, collaboration and negotiation skills.
  • You have an affinity for data and ad hoc studies in particular.
  • You are fluent in the local language and have a very good level of English.
