Sales Operations Team Leader : POSITION SNAPSHOT :

We are looking for a Sales Operations Team Leader for Bridgestone SWR. This position will be located in our Madrid Office.

The Fleet Operations Team Leader plays a key role in supporting all those involved in the fleet business (KAM, Fleet Auditor, Fleet Operations, Finance SWR, etc.) and improving fleet market share by supporting the various teams.

  • This position will also be responsible for analyzing operational activity and financial profitability and support info for drawing up budgets._

Key Responsibilities

1- Responsible for the smooth running and proper execution of fleet contracts for all direct contracts

  • Ensure proper execution of contracts at operational level
  • Assure the invoicing and monthly closing.
  • Coordinate risk-credit assessment
  • Identify opportunities and weaknesses in our contracts
  • Propose and implement priority action plans to improve profitability
  • Communicate production requirements and forecasts

2- Supporting the sales team

  • During the contract prospecting phase: assist the sales team in calculating the service level, tire performance as financial aspects too, and validating contractual agreements
  • Acting as a consultant and advisor to the sales team
  • Assisting the sales team in the creation of new contracts (and clauses) and the approval process (approval form)
  • Ensure that the budgets for Spanish fleets are drawn up and that all the elements are correctly included, and ensure the active participation of the KAM sales managers and fleet auditors in drawing up the budgets.

3- Main point of contact for all stakeholders in fleet activities

  • Coordinate activities between all stakeholders in the fleet business (direct and indirect): BOSS-Fleets, Partners, all sales teams, fleet auditors, Sales Admin, Finance team, Legal team, Shared Service Center (Poland), JSOX and external auditor, Marketing,...

4- Main contact for pan-European contracts

  • Acting as an operational liaison partner between Spain and other countries for the implementation of pan-European contracts.

5- Managing the team of fleet operations specialists

  • Managing and motivating the fleet operations team for spain, ensuring that the team meets regularly and that the various performance indicators are properly communicated.
  • Defining and organizing tasks and workloads and setting priorities
  • Reporting, evaluation and training
  • Recruiting, integrating and training new recruits

6- Back-up and support for fleet operations specialists

  • Providing operational back-up for fleet operations specialists during holidays, sick leave, etc.
  • Providing experience and advice, coaching the team and taking decisions when necessary.

7- Support for continuous improvement

  • Assist the Digital Expert Manager in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to ensure efficiency within the Fleet Operations team.
  • Suggest improvements and standardization of processes.
  • On request, participation in European projects.

8- Coordinate management, administrative and financial activities

  • Ensures that closing goes smoothly and deadlines are met
  • Approval of closing QRMS for accounting entries
  • Ensuring that inventories (rolling and used) are correctly estimated.
  • Ensuring good communication with Credit in order to anticipate any risks.

Required Capabilities

  • Very good knowledge of fleet operations and finance (5 years' higher education),
  • Good command of IT tools
  • Managerial experience required
  • Good accounting skills
  • Sense of initiative and leadership
  • Specific team management skills: team spirit and ability to resolve conflicts
  • Analytical skills
