Procurement Global Travel Intern

Ecolab is seeking a Procurement Global Travel Intern for our Supply Chain Center of Excellence in Barcelona.The primary objective of this internship is to assist our Procurement team in a varied portfolio of procurement projects under Business Services: Travel Category.Typically reporting to Category Lead. Position Details: Located in Barcelona, Spain What You Will Do Run simple RFx events and negotiate contract agreements for various services.Prepare and edit contracts between the company and potential suppliers.Assess supplier performance to identify the need for amendments of existing contracts.Assist to create a logical plan, realistic estimates and schedule for an activity or project segment, coordinate and direct completion.Assess the risk associated with the process and the respective mitigation plan for each risk identified.Proactively propose process improvement ideas which can reduce time, cost, improved accuracy or enhance controls. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering).Ability to understand complex issues in a comprehensible way and to communicate to a wide circle of customers.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.Strong analytical skills and attention to details.Stakeholder Obsessed – Analyzing and Finding “What is the problem/issue for the stakeholder” (and) “What question am I solving”.​Having the possibility to sign an internship agreement with the university. Additional Qualifications Intermediate knowledge with MS Office Tools, Advanced knowledge of Excel is a plus.Degree/Experience in Travel Category / Supply-chain / Procurement /Project Management is a plus.Most of all, looking for people with a real passion for learning and willing to grow. #LI-EU
