VHIR offers vacancy/vacant position for a certified Nursing degree within the Neuroimmunology research group - Multiple

Sclerosis (MS) Centre of Catalonia

The main objectives of the Clinical Neuroimmunology Group through research are to improve the quality of life of multiple

sclerosis (MS) patients and attain a greater understanding of the pathogenic mechanisms, aiming to develop new and more

effective therapeutic means. Other interests in research are: therapeutic tools in MS; disease susceptibility, diagnostic and

prognostic markers in MS; study of the response to treatment in MS patients; clinical and radiological study of primary

  • progressive MS; epidemiology of MS; and patient-oriented outcomes.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Education and qualifications : Required: -

Nursing degree obtained in a Spanish or other EU country university

  • Other degrees and proven skills

Desired: -

Problem solving abilities

  • A proactive attitude
  • A capacity to work under pressure
  • Flexibility and adaptability to a dynamic nurse team

Experience and knowledge : Desired: -

Knowledge in the field of clinical trials

  • Languages: Catalan, Spanish and English
  • Computing skills: eCRM software and other nursing record keeping software

Main responsibilities and duties :

  • Taking of vital constants, tests, electrocardiograms, collection of other biological samples
  • Administration of clinical trial medication
  • Handling of medication kits
  • Recording the medication distribution
  • Patient education.

Labour conditions :

  • Closed offer: until July 31st, 2019 (3 months)
  • 28.0000.€ gross salary per year
  • 40 h weekly (From Monday to Thursday)
