Senior Accountant

If this role sounds like you and you are ready for a new challenge, hit apply!What you’ll do Assisting with accounting, payroll and procurement systems implementation for the group of companies; To take over the responsibilities currently handled by the outsourcing company and set up the internal accounting system (Sage); Monthly closing process: responsible for monthly closing process involving Bank transactions, Payroll, Accruals, and Taxes; Payroll management: oversee the monthly payment process, handle employee benefits, ensure compliance with local payroll obligations and taxes; Managerial reporting: participation in monthly managerial reports preparation; Production and submission of annual VAT and R&D tax returns; Statutory audit support: collaborate with external auditors and issue all documentation for the audit process. What we expect from you Bachelor's or associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; Min 5 years of experience as an accountant, with a focus on payroll processing; In-depth knowledge of Spanish accounting and tax laws; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Fluent in English and Spanish.
