Your mission

Regional pricing manager is a key enabler in discount management and ensuring discount discipline, in order to support profitable growth.

In this role you will act as a sparring partner on pricing and discount management for Sales area director, SA business controller and Market managers.

You alsowill be responsible for providing full analytical support, control and guidance when it comes to price and discount management for assigned sales region, to support growth while safeguarding profitability.

To achieve this, important key responsibilities are :

Customer pricing :

  • Deal pricing : preparation and evaluation of business cases
  • Discount benchmarking and optimization
  • Overview of customer price agreements
  • Won / lost analysis

Market pricing :

  • Price benchmarking
  • Overview of competitor price activities
  • Participate in planning promotions
  • Provide input on structural changes in product price repositioning

Pricing KPIs

  • Setting discount guidelines
  • Support annual price planning
  • driving price planning process with market managers
  • Follow up on NPC results
  • Providing training to sales organization on price, profitability and
  • discount management
  • As we navigate in a global setting, moderate travel is expected for this role

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you need to have a universitydegree. Prior experience from pricing, commercial excellence, or similar roles in B2B environment strongly preferred.

You have a curiosity for business, understanding what is behind the numbers.

You combine analytical mindset with commercial acumen as well as excellent people skills and influencing ability. Both strategic and hands on approach are required.

When it comes to tools and systems, you are an advanced Excel and PowerPoint user. An advantage but no requirement is knowledge of SAP,CRM and PowerBI.

To have the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines is of the utmost importance. You are skilled in prioritizing and judging when to apply your sense of quality and details and when to deliver good enough , and when encountering topics to solve, you have a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

We believe you are at ease working in a global organization (which

requires fluent English)with stakeholders from diverse functional as well as geographical and cultural areas. You are comfortable in a matrix setup, where colleagues often have dotted lines, but work well together and pull in the same direction.

Being a team player is also an important skill in succeeding in this role.
