Wealth Management & Insurance is looking for a Strategy & Corporate Development Manager based in our Boadilla del Monte office.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a a Strategy & Corporate Development Manager you will support the definition and execution of the WM&I Division's strategy for the three businesses (Private Banking, Asset Management and Insurance), being a key point of contact with other areas of Santander regarding WM&I strategy, financial reporting and public reporting. You will play an important role with businesses and countries regarding cross strategic initiatives.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

  • Lead, together with the Head of Strategy, global strategic projects at WM&I level for any of the three businesses
  • Support the strategy and finance teams in the preparation of materials for the Board of Directors and Executive Committee, as well as in the S-xx, financial planning and budgeting processes
  • Assist in the definition of the agenda of the Division by proposing topics and preparing materials for the WM&I ExFo meetings, as well as regular meetings with the CEO, regional managers and the rest of the Group's Management team
  • Monitor strategic priorities and the budget achievement at business and country level

EXPERIENCE

  • 6-10 years of experience (in consultancy or banking)
  • Extensive experience in managing complex projects and deadlines with a high degree of visibility and pressure

EDUCATION

Engineering, Business Administration or similar

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Bilingual English or high level of proficiency. Other languages (mainly Portuguese) would be an asset
  • Ability to present clearly and concisely both orally and in writing (narrative) at senior management fórums
  • Reporting and presentation skills to assist in decision making
  • Solid financial and analytical skills. Be able to work with numbers and financials in a proficient manner
  • Proficiency in power point and excel
