We are looking for a full-time DATA Engineer. You will work on a day-to-day basis in squads with talented designers, product owners & software developers to build a scalable and solid product.

The Data Engineer role

  • Able to manipulate and collect data from different sources for later synthesise and interpret it
  • Expose data from different systems (for example through APIs)
  • Able to recognise and exploit business opportunities to ensure more efficient and effective performance of organisations
  • Develop data services that are fit for purpose, resilient, scalable and future-proof, to meet user needs
  • Help team to achieve their goals and be aligned to business needs.

Minimum requirements

What we are expeting from you

  • At least 2 - 3 years of experience working with Python
  • Passionate about big data and its potential for supporting smart decisions
  • Experience with AWS services like Glue and S3 at least. Having worked with Event Bridge, SNS or SQS will be a plus
  • Knowledge on Git
  • Experience on working in an Agile setup
  • Methodical and logical approach along with creativity when approaching a problem
  • Experience working on ensure data quality and validation
  • Able to log, analyse and manage problems to identify and implement the appropriate solution
  • Experience on working on backend for exposing data through APIs and communicate with Frontend. Experience with Swagger will be a plus
  • Focus on quality and experience on testing strategies, unit and integration testing. Knowledge on SonarQube will be a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to identify and communicate data driven insights in a clear and effective manner

  • Bonus: experience in relevant vertical industries: consumer electronics, automotive, industrial, health
