We are seeking an experienced and proactive Technical Manager to join our team in Valladolid, Spain.

  • Collaborate with engineering department or contractors in the design phase to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Liaise with local agencies and DNOs to clarify processes and local requirements.
  • Provide clarifications to local site teams and highlight critical technical points before construction begins.
  • Conduct on-site visits as needed to verify the implementation of construction drawings.
  • Support Project Management and Construction teams with technical details of projects.
  • Define commissioning steps and ensure sites reach commissioning stage during projects.
  • Participate in meetings to offer technical support to the project management team.
  • Serve as the point of contact for local investors' technical teams, working with the engineering department to resolve technical issues in the company's best interest.

What you bring to the role :

  • The Technical Manager, stationed at the local office, will undertake frequent travel to construction sites and report directly to the Senior Technical Manager.
  • Possesses a minimum of 5 years' construction experience.
  • Preferably has a background in the solar or batteries sector.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Spanish and English is essential.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are imperative for success in this role.
