WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Under the scope of the New Leasing Business Unit within Santander Consumer Finance, we're looking for a results-driven Sales SME specialist with commercial and strategy background, to help leading the development and execution of our mobility platform, with a rapid focus on the customers and partners. Utilizing a user-centric mindset, this individual will be a key contributor in designing the pan-european and local sales SME strategy, pricing policies, action plans and special campaigns, etc.

The Leasing Sales SME Manager will lead the activities of cross-functional and multicultural teams involving various business partners in the development and deployment of new sales channels, commercial and marketing activities, and process improvements.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

  • Contribute to the strategic development and execution of the leasing roadmap.
  • In coordination with the other stake holders, lead the conceptualization, design and creation of sales and marketing policies with strong skills on SME commercial activities.
  • Propose and negotiate third-party supplier agreements at global level and support local units in the design of policies and negotiate with local suppliers specialized in marketing and promotional activities.
  • Able to step back and look beyond the immediate problem to see how it fits into the larger ecosystem -across channels, touchpoints, and platforms
  • and then diving in to nail the important details; evangelize user-centric design, leveraging user feedback from various channels.
  • Manage existing features and actively lead the research, definition and development of digital enhancements to advance the business roadmap.
  • Continually drive digital experiences towards a meaningful balance between user needs, business objectives and technical feasibility.
  • Facilitate & drive solutions across the organization; working with legal, risk, operations, and technology teams to prioritize, deliver solutions that align with the corporate strategy.
  • Push for new ideas and improve the user experience beyond the scope of formal efforts or assignments, with a clear view of market trends, alternative scenarios and possibilities to be even better than the best-in-class company, regardless the sector where this user experience is happening.
  • Lead discussions on long-term design and development projects through various channels: written scenarios, polished visual mockups, meetings & continuous collaboration.
  • Absorb constructive criticism of product plans, and be open to design feedback from stakeholders across different geographies.

EXPERIENCE

More than 8 years of commercial activities with 3+ year experience in marketing

EDUCATION

Bachelor degree holder with a marketing master

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Communication: excellent and professional written and verbal skills for use externally to clients, including presentations/PowerPoint
  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize activities, manages conflicts and meet deadlines while working in a complex environment.
  • Attention to detail: ability to review and prepare, meticulously, in advance of client meetings and presentations, including identifying and positioning opportunities to grow relationship with clients.

OTHER INFORMATION

  • It is important availability to visit and communicate with all the different Business Units. Travelling and staying for several days in any of the Business Units may be necessary

Promote business growth by product (e.g. cards, loans, insurance, etc.), segments (e.g. retail, business, etc.) or channels (contact center, specialized branches, etc.) at a experienced level.
