Job Purpose

Contribute and take responsibility for the short

  • and medium-term network implementation, ensuring alignment and delivery of the Company’s strategies and targets

Main Accountabilities

Main Responsibilities - Tasks

  • Support the team in the definition and implementation of all necessary network adjustments across the short
  • and medium-term planning cycle
  • Conduct analyses combining multiple data sources to propose structural and tactical capacity adjustments aimed at maximizing the Company’s targets while ensuring compliance with all operational requirements
  • Monitor and analyse route performance, recommending corrective measures in coordination with other Commercial departments
  • Coordinate short-term charter and special operations requests with all relevant stakeholders while ensuring the balance between profitability targets and network strategy considerations
  • Together with Scheduling department, build efficient and operationally robust schedules
  • Maintain and advance the team’s business intelligence capabilities, developing new reports and ensuring access to all relevant data sources
  • Liaise with other IAG OpCos for short-term capacity matters and opportunities
  • Proactively propose the communication of capacity changes to PR&IR department (Press releases)
  • Act as a focal point for all short
  • and medium-term capacity-related queries from other Company areas

Main Relationships

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study (Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar)

Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an analytical role, preferably within the fields of transport and logistics
  • Previous experience within aviation highly valued, but not essential

  • Ability to work independently, and as a team, within a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills, having the ability to translate multiple data points into specific actions
  • Strong communication skills, delivering arguments in a clear and structured manner
  • Commercial and strategic acumen, maintaining a low-cost focus
  • You enjoy being challenged and are not shy about challenging others
  • Passionate about aviation

  • Spanish: C1
  • English: B2
  • Catalan: Valued

Other

  • Microsoft Office: Proficiency level in Excel and Power Point
  • Previous experience using Tableau or other data visualization tools highly valued
  • SQL knowledge valued
