Backend Senior Engineer

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

A SeniorBackend Engineer with hands-on experience in developing complex solutions, to join our Core Features team.

Skills & requirements:

• +5years of experience in Software development, programmingin one or morelanguages like Java, NodeJS, Python or Go.
• Solid experience with Key-Value stores and in-memory databases (e.g. Redis, Memcached).
• Strong experience with testing tools and modern CI/CD frameworks.
• Knowledge in Linux, Git, Docker & Docker-Compose and AWS Cloud.

Bonus points:

• Software development experience in Java / Spring Boot .
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-throughput platforms.

Smadex is a cutting-edge ad-tech company: we process more than 2,5 million ad requests per second, replying under 100ms. -What will you do at Smadex?

• Be an advocate of the “You build it, you run it” philosophy: You will own your code from design to production; testing, deploying and monitoring. Be an essencial part of every stage in the software development process.
• Develop and maintain a high-throughput low-latency platform. You have not lived until you fix an error happening 1 million times per second.
• Improve and optimize real-time components: every millisecond counts.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical and architectural decisions, collaborate in a fast-paced environment where every opinion counts.
