Job Description : What you’ll do: The Finance Operations team acts as a trusted business partner within Finance - protecting, creating, and driving sustainable stakeholder value. While creating a controlled and protected environment with accurate and timely financial information safeguarding the company with integrity, robust compliance and controls.

We also identify opportunities for improvement, work with stakeholders to develop business cases, implement plans and are the point of contact for escalation for the BPO.

Key responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for strategic plans, budgets and forecasts for global centralised functions i.e. the CEO office, Finance, Legal, People & Communications and Workplace Resources
  • Provide full finance business partner support to senior stakeholders and functional leads to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are achieved in line with Adevinta’s wider commercial strategy
  • Lead FP&A inputs on modelling group-wide reward costs e.g., Stock-based compensation working closely with the Reward and Financial Control teams
  • Critically evaluate investment proposals/business cases and perform full financial assessment on costs/benefits to assist decision-making
  • Analyse performance variances in monthly and quarterly results and communicate to senior stakeholders, identifying corrective measures if required
  • Manage the Central Functions Analyst - effectively train, evaluate, motivate, delegate and monitor their activities

Qualifications : Who you are:

  • Finance or business-related education - preferably a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Experience as a Senior Finance Business Partner including end-to-end planning, budgeting and forecasting and reporting processes
  • Understanding of metrics and key drivers which impact functional costs and headcount
  • Ability to prioritise, independently manage and deliver outputs in a fast moving, global environment with tight deadlines
  • Proficient user in FP&A systems and reporting tools, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in S4HANA or OneStream is an advantage
  • Fluent English (Spanish would be a plus) with good verbal and written communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Specific industry experience and knowledge in a high-growth, multi-geography technology business
