About Growing with us

In this role, you are a dynamic Local Real World Data Lead, interested in elevating beyond the status quo, by having a deep understanding of pairing current and emerging person-level data opportunities with processes and value drivers for the business. You can act as the intermediary between the business and Data, using a deep understanding of data domains/features, local privacy regulations, business processes and technology to achieve desired outcomes.

You have keen attention to detail and take the time to understand stakeholders’ data needs and challenges. You continually seek to improve your knowledge of new technologies and industry standards to drive the development of simple, yet effective solutions. You enjoy partnering with stakeholders to design and implement data management best practices and procedures. You are a collaborative self-starter, see challenges as opportunities, and are results oriented.

When joining our team, you will experience:

Local Real World Data Lead will be directly accountable and responsible to:

Scope data access strategy for real world healthcare and non-healthcare data to meet Sanofi strategic initiatives

Work with Digital, Data and Business stakeholders to elicit high-level requirements and capture business and end user needs; understand the customer journey, processes, data use, analysis, and quality - and define user requirements. Proactively monitor industry, functional, and technology trends with a focus on current and emerging data opportunities through builds, license, collaboration or partnership.

Create and maintain a comprehensive view of data assets in key regions

Assess quality and fitness of data assets for Sanofi

Analyze new and existing processes and propose process improvements that can increase accuracy, efficiency, and/or value

Communicate solution tradeoffs to business stakeholders to frame and influence project options

Identify and analyze business needs and coordinate between stakeholder groups to address them

Assess the risks of various solutions and prioritize multiple, simultaneous business demands based on business impact and Digital strategy.

Leverage data and facts to identify patterns, using judgment to form conclusions that better influence alternatives to conventional wisdom, and focuses on the issues to identify high leverage intervention points and strategies

Collaborate with the Product Owner, business, digital and data teams. Including deep connections with legal, privacy, and procurement.

Support business case creation

Ensure that data is managed / analyzed in compliance with applicable quality, regulatory (Data Privacy, GxP, SOX, etc.) and cybersecurity requirements

Key Functional Requirements & Qualifications:

Key Technical Requirements & Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in computer sciences, engineering, business, or equivalent degrees

A minimum of 1+ years identifying, accessing, and analyzing person-level data from industries outside of healthcare

Knowledge of privacy and consent regulations
