Job Purpose : Responsible for the creation of a consistent mid term plan, ensuring the RM availability, and the production plan execution. Through a close cross functional collaboration to ensure a solid relationship and performance.

The role requires a comprehensive understanding of existing and future capacity plans/constraints at the manufacturing plant and distribution network, and knowledge of how production capacity can be flexed to meet demand.

Junior Supply Planner - Key Accountabilities :

  • Review the 12wk outlook for the supply plan, taking into account capacity agreements and storage capacity on the site.
  • Support the site with analyses of KPIs to increase performance and improve visibility.
  • Contact point to the site for production and logistics plan release, adherance to plan, constraints and exceptions.
  • Manage all assigned material activities related to production, purchase and distribution planning and ensure availability for the master production plan in line with MRP parameters and supplier contracts
  • Provide impact analysis when needed to show the impact of decisions or scenarios to the plan. Support on reporting where necessary.
  • Balance service level (OTIF) and inventory targets (OWC), whilst understanding cost impacts on manufacturing.

Education & Experience :

  • University Education (e.g. Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or other relevant discipline) with Degree or equivalent qualification

  • Focused on results

  • Good problem-solving skills, able to identify and structure issues, run accurate analyses and synthesize recommendations

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility and able to work under-pressure

  • At least 1 year experience in Supply Planning in FMCG, Paint/Coating or Retail.

  • Experience on Supply Planning in SAP and BI :

  • Fluent and able to work in English. Other languages are a plus. Understanding and sensitivity to different cultural behaviours.
