About the Role

Employee Workplace is seeking a Workplace Foundations Engineer who has affinity for Digital Workplace, IT security, Compliance and Governance

In this role you will:

  • Work to deliver an End-to-end solution design and implementation of M365 platform related capabilities, including integration in adjacent areas such as AAD, Azure and IAM
  • Continuous development of the Microsoft 365 core platform, including identifying, evaluating, and deploying new platform capabilities, processes, and solutions to meet stakeholder demands
  • Design, implement and operate Microsoft 365 cloud based Legal and Compliance controls that mitigate the risks and fulfill requirements from legal and compliance stakeholders
  • Assist in third level support cases related to the Microsoft 365 core platform
  • Drive operational excellence and automation
  • Stay up to date of new and upcoming technologies and developments in the Microsoft 365 Cloud and related Azure capabilities

We achieve this through:

  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive portfolio of standard end to end digital workplace products and services needed to support productivity, collaboration and communication (e.g. Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10)
  • Local office workplace hardware lifecycle management, support and provisioning
  • Supporting local or regional office and individual business unit requirements in the area of footprint changes, legal and compliance requests, BCM and ITSCM events.
  • Standardizing our portfolio catalogue of services and end user technology products, helping to provide greater transparency and efficiency, enabling every employee to be educated and supported equally regardless of their respective location.
  • Leveraging our global, regional and local vendors, suppliers and service provider relationships to balance value for money and high-end technical solutions.

About you

We are happy to meet you if you possess:

  • Senior level experience and expertise of M365 services, as well as Azure
  • Very strong scripting and automation skills (PS, C#,.Net, etc)
  • Strong understanding about underlying components in the space of Identity and Access Management, Azure Active Directory as well as authorization and authentication concepts
  • Hands on experience with Data Analytics
  • Good understanding of Cloud networking, Cloud Security and Cloud Governance
  • Good communication skills at all levels of the organisation
  • Self-starter - finds ways to solve a problem, either individually or with help from peers
  • Experience in a global, multi-national enterprise, preferably in the insurance and financial sector
  • Experience working in agile SCRUM methodology a plus
  • Open mindedness and willingness to adapt, grow and learn with requirements
  • Eligible to work in Spain
  • Strong English language skills, German language skills would be a plus
