Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic annual business plans, outlining actions, tools, and resource allocation well in advance to achieve organizational goals and objectives
  • Establish clear and measurable individual goals for the business development department, aligning them with the overarching objectives of the organization
  • Lead the development of the department's annual budget, ensuring optimal resource distribution to support strategic initiatives
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify emerging trends, assess competitor activities, and capitalize on new opportunities
  • Establish and nurture strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance the organization's market position and capabilities
  • Implement robust tracking mechanisms for KPI to assess the effectiveness of existing systems and processes
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategic adjustments to enhance overall performance
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing innovative business ventures, markets, and revenue streams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing business development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture
  • Negotiate business contracts and close deals to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
