Chief Executive Officer - CEO - Plant Manager - Bilbao Spain
Our Client is a leader in the manufacturing of automotive parts and are now looking to recruit a hybrid Chief Executive Officer - CEO with Plant Management expertise.
Their success is founded on its deep knowledge of the market and the ability to adopt new working methods, cut losses and run the business towards a lean production.
Ensure running and ramping up of a new manufacturing process and overall understanding of production issues.
It is essential that the candidate has experience from either the automotive industry or other manufacturing industries.
It is also of the essence that the candidate has the ability to contribute and co-create in an international setting with the other factories in the Global Technologies and is able to manage the culture change to a stand-alone plant.
You will experience from a managing role, such as a Plant Manager, head of a business unit or similar.
In these roles, the right candidate must have had responsibility for strategic decisions and operational decisions.
Building and motivate the management team and develop a highly professional plant organization.
Ideally come from within the automotive industry or similar industries.
Have a strong interest for Company's customers and are able to understand their challenges, are used to negotiate contracts and are able to see the difference between a good and not so good business deal.
The candidate has a very strong operational background.
A mature leader with inner strength and presence, someone who listens but is also listened to.
Engaging team builder with the ability to inspire, motivate and coach people towards a common goal.
Able to lead the team in a positive and challenging way onto a professional plant organization.
On the other hand side that candidate does not hesitate to replace or dismiss management members if they are low performers or not willing to contribute.
A results-driven person who takes great interest in changes in the outer world.
Able to plan and implement structural changes in the plant.
Develop, operate and monitor production but also putting an interest in developing offerings to new and existing customers - in both a strategic and production-oriented approach.
A confident and articulate communicator who connects well on all levels, externally and internally.
A responsive and perceptive leader with the ability to adapt to the current situation.
Be a outspoken person and has the courage to challenge old truths.
Recognises the value of co-creating between the countries within the Group, collaborating and building trust with colleagues.
Should have the ability to create good relations with customers, stakeholders and others to run an effective factory.
Creating a positive environment to motivate the management team and develop a professional organization.
Has a strong drive to create the right conditions for Company's development within both a long term and a short time perspective.
The Company is expected to continue its growth and be a more effective plants over time,
A journey the new CEO Plant Manager/Business Manager will take part in driving.
The salary for this role will be circa Euros 100K - Euros 150K plus benefits.
Must be able to communicate in Spanish - so must be a Spanish speaker.
