The role and its impact on Verisure TechnologyThe Company is actively recruiting a SAP/SQL Server dba responsible for Databases, that will join to an experienced team of technicians who works with the latest versions, focusing on various technologies related databases (RDBMS and non- SQL): Sql Server, SAP ASE, SAP IQ , SAP HANA and MongoDB.This role is key to help maintain the high reliability and performance of our applications:Ensure compliance with the defined quality criteria deploying RDBMS.Ensure the use of the different automatic deployment tools in the field, and keep knowledge of process, documentation, and quality.Monitoring of SLA compliance based on KPIs defined. Responsabilities The SAP /Sql Server DBA that we are looking for will be responsible for:Sql Server and SAP ASE,IQ: Installing, configuring, and managing.Incident response.Project Deployment.Monitoring performance and service.Support to development teams.24x7 support shifts.Requirements/ Qualifications of the position includeA bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or telecommunications or proven work experience.Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sql Server: Perform core SQL Server Basis administration functions including software installations, configurations, support package update and upgrade, performance monitoring, tuning and capacity management. Experience in migration of versions with minimum impact.Minimum of 2 years of experience in SAP ASE or IQ: Perform SAP basic administration functions including software installations, configurations, support package update and upgrade, performance monitoring, tuning and capacity management.Scripting in LinuxA fluency in English (at least at a B2 level in writing, speaking, and listening) is required, as the company operates in an English-speaking environment and there are colleagues from Systems Operations that are based in other countries.Other desirables requirements:Experience in Agile MethodologiesOther DDBB and Non-relational DDBB (Snowflake and Mongo DB)AnsibleKnowledge of databases on cloud: AWS and AzureSAP HANAJira and Confluence️ In addition to meeting these qualifications, successful candidates should demonstrate:Proficiency in diagnosis in a technical problem-solving situation.Effective teamwork skills.Critical analysis of services to identify areas for improvement.Goal-oriented work approach.Demonstrated autonomy and proactivity.Keen interest in new information technology and training.Passion for technical subjects.
